A dream summer vacation starts here; RB Outfitters offers fishing, camping, and photography trips in scenic mountains of Northern New Mexico. We also offer wilderness-riding trips. These trips are both exciting and relaxing, sure to appeal to every outdoor enthusiast.

Our trips take place just south of the Colorado – New Mexico state line, a three-hour drive from Albuquerque. There are rental cars available at the Albuquerque airport for those traveling by air.  We can meet you at Chama, NM a small city close to our camp.  From there we lead to your camp.  Once we arrive at camp, you will be introduced to your accommodations; in either cabins or tents, both are rustic yet comfortable. Your meals are cooked over campfire and in dutch ovens and we have no doubt that they will exceed your expectations. Our campfire cooking is not limited to hotdogs and hamburgers.  You will be treated to fresh fish (your catch), dutch oven biscuits, stews, and cobbler.

You will enjoy breathtaking scenery right from camp with views of vast mountains, rivers, and valleys. Wildlife in this area is abundant, and one can expect to see elk, mule deer, antelope, black bear, wild turkey, and a variety of other wildlife, just to name a few. We offer fly-fishing where you can catch brook trout in their natural habitat. This area holds many creeks, streams, rivers, and ponds on both public and private land. These waters are literally full of beautiful brook trout so even an amateur fisherman can expect to catch fish.

Both the fishing and the camping trips are great family outings, fun for people of all ages. We promote a fun-loving good time and believe it’s hard to beat a quiet mountain night underneath million stars, campfire, and maybe even some cowboy poetry or storytelling.
